In 1985 under the Pseudonym "Hakim Bey" Peter Lamborn Wilson published the book "TAZ: The Temporary Autonomous Zone, Ontological Anarchy, Poetic Terrorism", a cult book for the first generation of hackers and cyberpunks. Lutz Dammbeck visited Peter Lamborn Wilson together with Sabine Schenk in June 2004 to compile material for the website about the film The Net.
