Renata, a literature teacher, is going to visit her son. Together with her, the eccentric guy Dima, a former criminal, turns out to be in the same compartment. Talking about the fate of Russian literature becomes a trigger for the relationship of the characters from complete rejection to mutual understanding and sympathy.
