Determined to preserve local heritage, Jurema, a photographer, confronts her fears when an experimental audiovisual project puts her best friend at risk. To protect a guardian of the neighborhood's memory, she confronts heirs of former plantation owners who manipulate the past and joins forces with a local scientist to recover the memory before it is erased.
