Studies on the ecology of drama include the means of presenting a film by Eija-Liisa Ahtila, one of Finland's most famous contemporary artists, as a path to other living beings. The human role in the work is played by actress Kati Outinen. Living beings representing other species are a bush, a tree, a worm, a barn swallow, a butterfly and horses. The work also features a group of human actors who form the "Group of Shadows".
