Distinguished Artist Thu An (full name Nguyễn Thị Thu An, 1 May 1922 - 3 October 2011) was a Vietnamese actress, one of the veterans of Vietnamese cinema. She was best remembered for her roles as peasant women in "The August Star" (Sao tháng tám, d. Trần Đắc, 1976); the series "My Mother-in-law" (Mẹ chồng tôi, d.
